Achievements

The students of NUSRL since its inception in 2010 have strived hard and stood out in various moot court competitions. They have achieved laurels for the university in such a short span of time. The MCA is proud to list the achievements of the students.

Winners

9th All India Moot Court Competition, 2014 (GLC, Thiruvananthapuram)

  • Team comprising of Saswatee Pritispada Mohapatra and Priyanka Prasad were adjudicated as the Winners. They also won the Best Memorandum and Saswatee Pritispada Mohapatra won the Best Lady Advocate.

 

Runners – up

1st IP Markets National Moot Court Competition, 2015 (Osmania University, Hyderabad)

  • Team comprising Subarno Das, Raka Chatterjee and Nilotpal Shyam were adjudicated as the Runners-up.

3rd NHRC National Moot Court Competition, 2015 (Faculty of Law 1, DU)

  • Team comprising of Rooha Khursid, Apoorva Singh and Ayush Dixit were adjudicated as the Runners-up and won the Best Memorandum. Rooha Khursid secured the Best Speaker Award.

26th KLA All India Moot Court Competition, 2015 (KLA, Thiruvananthapuram)

  • Team comprising of Kirtikar Sukul, Sonal Soni and Gouransh Bhurrak secured the Runners-up position.

Nyayavalokan : 5th National Trial Advocacy Competition, 2014 (Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai)

  • Team comprising of Kirtikar Sukul, Sonal Soni, Gouransh Bhurrak and Diksha Lall were adjudicated as Runners-up.

 

Semi-finalists

5th SLCU National Moot Court Competition, 2014 ( School of Law, Christ University, Bengaluru)

  • Team comprising of Amogh Srivastava, Akchansh Kishore and Aman Srivastava secured the position of semi-finalists along with the Best Memorandum. Akchansh Kishore was awarded as the Best Speaker and Amogh Srivastava bagged the Second Best Speaker.

 

1st Justice B. P. Saraf National Tax Moot Court Competition, 2014 (WBNUJS, Kolkata)

  • Team comprising of Abhijeet Kumar and Ayush Raj were adjudicated as Semi-Finalists.

 

Quarter-finalists

5th NLIU – Juris Corp National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition, 2014 (NLIU, Bhopal)

  • Team Comprising of Pritish Mishra, Navneet Lal and Akshay Uppal were adjudicated as the Semi-Finalists and also won the Best Memorandum.

8th Annual Nalsar – Justice B. R. Shawney Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2014 (Nalsar University of law, Hyderabad)

  • Team comprising of Bhawana Parihar, Ebaad Nawaz and Nilotpal Shyam were adjudicated as the Semi-Finalists.

 

2nd ITMU Law School National Moot Court Competition, 2014 ( ITMU Law School, Gurgaon)

  • Team Comprising of Amogh Srivastava, Rooha Khurshid and Aman Srivastava were adjudicated as Quarter-Finalists and also won the Best Memorandum.

 

4th Paras Diwan Moot Court Competition, 2014 (UPES, Dehradun)

  • Team Comprising of Avaneesh Satyang, Kirtikar Sukul and Akchansh Kishore were adjudicated as Quarter-Finalists.

 

C. Chagla Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2014 (GLC, Mumbai)

  • Team Comprising of Vivek Raj, Anshuman Pandey and Rai Niseem Krishna secured the position of Quarter-Finalists.

 

1st Amity International Criminal Law Moot Court Competition, 2014 (Amity Law School, Noida)

  • Team Comprising of Saloni Kulshreshta, Rommel Khan and Shivali were adjudicated as Quarter-Finalists.

2nd RMLNLU – SCC Online International Media Law Moot Court Competition, 2013 (RMLNLU, Lucknow)

  • Team Comprising of Stuti Vats, Sneh Lata and Bini Mishra were adjudicated as Quarter-Finalists.

 

1st Law College Dehradun National Moot Court Competition, 2013 (Law College, Dehradun)

  • Team Comprising of Stuti Vats, Purvi Sinha and Bini Mishra were adjudicated as Quarter-Finalists.
